Bark to School: A Knoxville Dog’s Guide to Doggy Daycare This Fall

Why August is Our Favorite
When the human kids head back to school, it’s Bark to School for us pups! No more summer days at home — just wag-filled playgroups, new friends, and fun events. This year, we’re making it extra special:
- First Day for New Dogs For Free – New here? Come try daycare for your very first day!
- UT Student Special – UT students get $5 off daycare during move-in week with valid student ID during move in week August 11th-18th.
- Bark to School Photos – August 19–21 & August 26–28. Participating in photo day is free of charge, and your adorable face could be in our first-ever yearbook! Proofs available Sept. 12, with prints and digital copies for purchase.
Entry Requirements
Before joining the pack, make sure you have:
- Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccines
- Up-to-date flea prevention
- Completed our Playgroup Pre-Check – a one-time, 15-minute test to check your dog and human friendliness, and your energy levels.
All breeds and ages are welcome at The Bark!

Looking Ahead: Barks & Boos!
Get your costumes ready! This fall, our annual Barks and Boos Halloween celebration returns the first weekend in October. It’s open to all Knoxville dog lovers at our dog park. Think costumes, treats, games, and plenty of spooky tail wags!
So, grab your backpack (and by backpack, I mean your harness) — it’s time to go Bark to School!
